Ambassador of Patient Care Program
Centinela Hospital Medical Center has an active Ambassador of Patient Care program and they are a vital component of our healthcare team. The Ambassadors Program is open to men, women and teens who are interested in providing our patients and visitors with exemplary service. Each Ambassador selected is oriented and trained in an area that is appropriate taking into consideration that person's unique talents and interests.
Ambassadors perform a variety of tasks including greeting patients and visitors, offering books and magazines to patients from a library cart, acting as patient relations liaisons on one of our patient care areas and being the smiling face that answers questions on a unit.
The requirements for being an Ambassador at CHMC include a brief interview, passing a physical, background check, and being committed to Centinela Hospital Medical Center and our patients.
Being an Ambassador opens doors to new friendships and gives you the rewarding opportunity to help others. So give us a call. You'll feel good, and so will our patients. You may download the Ambassador Application Packet or request to have one sent to you by calling our Volunteer Services Department at (310) 680-1970. Once complete, please return to:
