Infection Control and Clinical Quality Report, 57 hospitals across the nation were ranked as having the lowest pneumonia
30 day mortality rate in the nation. Centinela Hospital Medical Center's
rate of 6.9% was the lowest of the 57 hospitals ranked. The 30-day death
(mortality) measure is an estimate of deaths from any cause within 30
days of a hospital admission, for patients hospitalized with pneumonia.
"By being ranked as the top hospital in the nation for having the

CEO of Centinela Hospital Medical Center. "As healthcare providers,
we face many challenges day in and day out, however this ranking, proves
the worth of our efforts and the excellent care we are able to provide
to our patients."
