Linda Bradley, Centinela Hospital CEO honored with Los Angeles  Business Journal Healthcare Leadership Award

Linda Bradley, CEO of Centinela Hospital Medical Center, was named Hospital CEO of the year at the Los Angeles Business Journal’s annual Healthcare Leadership Awards event held at the Omni Hotel in Downtown Los Angeles on April 18. The awards are given every year to recognize the accomplishments of individuals and organizations that have contributed to improving healthcare delivery in Los Angeles.

“We recognize the importance in our communities and in our personal lives of local health-care leaders and we’re proud to name Linda Bradley this year’s Hospital CEO award winner,” said Matthew Toledo, publisher and CEO of the Los Angeles Business Journal. “Linda’s remarkable leadership at Centinela Hospital and her commitment to quality care and employee satisfaction is the foundation for the growth of one of our area’s strongest community based hospitals.”

Ms. Bradley began her tenure at Centinela Hospital in 2010. As CEO, Ms. Bradley provides day-to-day operational leadership for the hospital; interfaces with community stakeholders and is an integral part of Prime Healthcare Services senior management team where she was selected to oversee their nationwide leadership training program.

Centinela Hospital Medical Center utilizes an innovative and integrated healthcare delivery system that remains ever cognizant of patient and community needs and desires for high quality affordable healthcare. Under Ms. Bradley’s leadership, Centinela Hospital has been recognized by numerous national organizations. The hospital has been named a Top 100 Hospital in the United States five years in a row by Truven Health Analytics. It has been named a Distinguished Hospital for Clinical Excellence and Patient Safety three years in a row by Healthgrades – which places Centinela Hospital in the top 5% for quality care of all hospitals in the nation. It consistently receives “A” ratings from the Leapfrog group in patient safety; and Centinela hospital has also been awarded the Joint Commission’s Top Performer on Key Quality Measures award for 2013, 2014 and 2015.

Additionally, Ms. Bradley is overseeing an $80 million earthquake retrofit and expansion project on the hospital’s campus that will modernize the hospital and transform the way care is delivered in the community.
